Ive been trying to avoid this thread to stop me having to dig thru the cobwebs and pull out a few old stihls...

I know of a very large collection of historic chainsaws including some really interesting old ones. They need to go to a new home, either sold to a private collector or donated to a museum somewhere perhaps. Anyone got any ideas as to where they could go and if they are worth anything? There is a vast array af stuff in the collection from 2 man saws that I can barely lift one end of to newer stihl etc and everything in between. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Iam not sure , it's not my saw there from a friend in the USA he has got so many saws it's unbeleivable :lol::lol:

Please don't get taken up the proverbial on this one. I'm not in favour of donations to museums; they should pay like everyone else imo. Shavey et al on the other hand would love, adore and keep running... oh and pay fair coin...
