I got a call off a lady who wanted to know if i was the tree surgeon who came and did here tree work, when i said i wasnt i asked why?, she went on to say that she had a flyer put through her door advertising tree work, she called and booked an appointment. she said the man came and he was wearing a jacket with tree surgeon written on the back and had a look at the tree, he quoted £250 to reduce the large sycamore and remove the waste. she accepted. they came and did the job, there were 3 men and a boy and were all wearing jackets with tree surgeon written on, she said they had butchered the tree and it looked really bad, they told her that it would be all right once it re sprouted. she paid up and off the went. a couple of weeks passed and she got a letter from the council to say that the tree had a TPO on it and they would be persuing the matter, she then told me that the next door neighbour came round and said he had just arrived back from her hols and wondered when the tree debris would be removed from her garden?? they had dumped all the waste from the job over the fence!!

 

I told her she should contact the trading standards and the police and get it sorted, she said she had lost the flyer so was ringing round local firms to try and find them!! fat chance of that.:lol:
