Cleft oak gates

Just had a bash this evening at making a cleft oak gate. This one is in miniature, 19"x28", and was wondering what to charge for cleft oak and ash gates. any suggestions welcome

Very nice mate I think with something like that if they want it they'll pay, what ever your asking. Its not like they'll be able to compare yours to one in B&Q. Puff your chest out and ask up

Work out how much the wood cost you then work out any fuel cost (presume not much?) then your labour for how ever long it took.

 

Thats how i would do it
