Thanks but I dont think there is access for a trailer. YOu would never turn it in the space, and it wouldn't articlulate enought to get round the bend. A mog could reverse in and out of the work area if required.

Really wish I was nearer, my mog has 4wheel steering, so access would not be a problem.

When you doing it Rupe??

Are there cheap B&B's near by??

You mog has a chip box on it doesn't it? So access would be easy with two wheel steering. The access is through a gate but then in and around some trees so not a straight line. The work area is big enough to three point turn a mog easily (and even easier once some trees are gone!) But we need to keep damage to minimum thats why I'm not keen on lots of kit going in and out.

I'm just pricign up for now so make me an offer? I can supply workforce if you really wanted to drive you mog down but I don't think the job as a whole is worth makign that effort for. Its like three days work but you would add a day traveling on the each end of that plus accomoodation, so I dont think it would work.

I can still do it all with a tracked chipper and chipp onto 3-4 piles if necessary, just looking for an easy way to get the chip moved out of the garden if possible.

When you going to take a look Rupe?

You can always P.M. me if you need to go down the Mog and gang route.

What have you got then? You still didn't tell me that bit.

And yo need to PM me a rate, so that I can work out the price. In the event that I just sub out the work as a whole then of course I would tell you where it is and get a fixed priced quote.

why dont you drive a tracked chipper in then reverse a transit tipper up to it? no chipper to reverse in and you can put the chips where you want them

This thread is not titled "please can someone tell me how to do my job". I know all the possible ways of doing it, reversing, my truck up hill, through a wood land (20+ times) is not one of them.

I have various methods in mind, if I can get a rate for a suitable Mog, than that is one method sorted and can be priced up, the other methods are priced up already and we will see what suits the client best.
