Yeah sounds about how I used to feel lol.

Wrecked my GT380 one night in a head on crash, official police records at the time gave the combined impact at 122 mph, car pulled in front of me when I was doing 90 plus, dont to this day know how I survided the crash, let alone walk out of hospital a couple of hours later with just cuts and bruises, oh, and a limp or two lol.

Luck I would suggest. Unless you believe in a higher authority. My cousin embedded his FZR600 in the bulk head of an old codgers car that pulled out in front of him. He was doing about 50 at the time, flew over a 100m from the impact. His rucksack saved his spine but he broke, or rather shattered his left leg, both his wrists and still walks with a limp. I have the picture of the bike remenants somewhere. I'd say you got out of that one really well.

I'm a lowly wee scooter man myself, but went up to the NEC with my bikefiend brother in December

Ridden a few smaller cc bikes when I was younger but never got bug or had the oportunity to feel the power of the big bikes,

but have to say I was more than a little excited being close up to the commando :001_cool:
