Before getting married I was seriously into bikes and besides a couple of mk2 golfs and a mini that's all I had for years.

I was especially into 2 strokes, going through tzr's couple of lc's etc and this one here(just found the pic and brought back memories.....)

I sold this one to fund a suite when I moved in with the then girlfriend:001_rolleyes: A guy I knew in the RD club made the expansion chambers, I spent alot on tuning and little bits and pieces for it. The sound was amazing amd the smell of two stroke oil was what I lived for.

The allure of a woman eh:001_rolleyes::laugh1:

Yeah I liked mk1's but somehow never managed to get one.

Now that we're settled in our house and the wife's got a nice estate and I've got my work van I wouldn't mind getting onto two wheels again, but more in the form of a trials bike! A montesa or something... plenty of landowners I get along with round where we live so that could be cool for unwinding a bit and reliving my dougie lampkin dreams:laugh1:
