I am a true believer that you get out of life what you put in.

 

It is very easy to become complacent and concentrate on your own circumstances whilst forgetting that the majority of people in this world are worse off than you.

 

I urge everyone to make 2011 a year of giving, even if it is only the occasional 10 minutes of your time to a good cause, or miss the odd pint occasionally and put that £2.50 to better use.

The benefits you get will be far greater than the effort put in.

Even if you do not win anything you have already gained. Just think of all the useful info you have gleaned from this site over the year, the little tips to save time on a job, ideas on pricing, cheap stockist of tools etc.

 

Surely that has to be worth a fiver to a good cause?

 

With over 8000 members here, just imagine how much good could be done if everyone gave a fiver.
