Hi Guys, Stolen From the Chelmsford Area last night/early houres of this morning. Feb 2000 Model, bought new by me, very low houres machine, very distinctive as very few yellow entec machines around now, On the rear it had several decals, which included " RIDE", " R-1 " .

Abs gutted, theiving scum, any info re this machine much appreciated. From what i have been told its possible that it could be in Ireland or Eastern Europe by now, but who knows.

Also heard today that a Timberwolf was stolen a fortnight ago from Chelmsford whilst the operatives were in the rear garden.

Photos available ( dont know if i can upload them on here ? )

Gutted for you matted too many of these posts lately. Regarding the chipper going missing while the lads were in the back garden, since reading all these posts I've bought a chain and lock and chained the chipper to the van.

how you going to stop them nicking the van though? my insurance dude rang me today and told me he heard of a chipper/chip truck driven away by theives while brash was being chipped..! never leave keys in guys and use chains/locks on the steering wheel:thumbdown:

sorry to hear of your entec being nicked man.

Sad to hear this mate, thats a hard loss. Sorry to spout this & it in no way reflects upon your misfortune, but..ANYONE using a chipper always use a very good quality motorcycle chain and lock at least,if you dont spend at least £150 on them then dont bother,it wont stop a gas axe,but it narrows it down.

Sorry too hear mate, i know how it feels as my chipper went walkies 3 years ago now off the back off the truck. yes it could be in \ireland but i would imagine its a lot closer than you think! mine ended up on ebay 6 months later 30 miles away, was spotted by an Arbtalker and i got it back.
