IF so, how do you get on with it? Much success?

I know one lad who does and gets on suprisingly well. But just on a brief observation, I think 95% of people selling firewood on ebay come across as right Pikies, well their adverts do anyway. Not much thought gone into most, decieving prices/sizes of loads....

Wont post any links of here, but would be interested to see what others think

theres a guy not far from me with a firewood buisness who also makes wooden logstores, he was telling me that his wife thought she would try a couple of logstores on e bay, then she put some logs on and he said its gone mad, just been on his website and it says on there that he cant do any new deliveries until january 2011

why would anyone bid on that?

Standing Trees To Be Felled For Firewood, Logs. on eBay (end time 12-Dec-10 22:16:48 GMT)

I actually think it's quite novel - the guy is doing quite well out of it without having to pay a land agent and for anyone not wanting a lot of wood and is local then it doesn't sound too bad.

What would happen in the event of an accident might be another matter entirely though

Actually maybe not, looking at the large picture. I've been looking at buying to sell of suppliers of shops n that but there doesn't look to be many good deals around where i live :( I'll start another thread on it.

Never sold any logs on E-bay, but I do admit to looking from time to time as occasionally you'll find punters selling entire trees and stuff they just want removed. Once got a nice couple of trailer loads of oak from a chap in Birmingham for not very much money.
