Swaying towards Stihl

[TRADITIONAL LOGGERS]

I run 242 XPG's and 346 XPG's and a 395XPG with no issues on eco fuels and oils. We had some cutters work with us using Stihl's and the saws used more normal unleaded fuel and mineral chain oil and were less reliable in hardwood thinning work. (Maintenance schedules?)

 

I had an 020S but it was scrapped after 6 months work. Bowsaw was more useful in the end.

That was the kind of experience I had with my last two Stihls an MS290 heavy and drank like a fish and an MS200 which although I never got on with it I must admit its done great service for the lad who bought it off me, got to admit I've never found another saw I've liked as much as my Husky 372xp

To OP, there was a recall on the 357xp saws. Bad carbs, intake and clamps. All paid for by the dealer for FREE.

Just check the service bulletin and that your saw falls in the serial number range.

REF 372xp i had one it was made on a friday nigth one in the end it went into the skip:thumbdown: that was the best place for that friday:laugh1: nigth saw its a 660 all the way now just the job
