Climber injured

Thursday my contract climber was reducing a conifer for another company he works for when not with us, the top hadled saw kicked the brake came on but the saw kicked back lifted his visor and as a result cut him fron the edge of the lip down to his chin this resulted in Jarno having 40, yes 40 stiches in his wound, being a tough little bugger he went of to hospital got stiched up and returned to the site to remove the debris before going home. I think any other person would of a least had the rest of the day of, not him. What a GUY

Comendable attitude of the fella.

I don't think I know anyone else who would of gone back to work.

 

Like to think, as Pete states, that these incidences wake us all up, both green and the old hands. :scared1:

i think the boss SHOULD of told him not to come back and that HIS men would finish the clearing up!!!!

Hi there whats Jarnos second name, worked on the railways quite a while ago down your way with a guy called Jarno Glasscock, working for fountains at the time about 2000 or 2001 i think
