What I have just witnessed is something the English National Football Team are completely incapable of attaining.

A performance of style, resilience, fortitude and I have to say simplistic direct beauty.

 

Hats off to those Tuetonic Kings of the Beautiful Game.

We have our Kings, messers Ferdinand, Gerrard and Rooney.

But we do not have das Kaiser.

But why do they lack these things.

What drives these people.

It is my opinion that any of the English squads for the last 3 tournaments could/should have been contenders for those trophies.

Man for Man we have the calibre of players.

I see the passion of these England players during the Champions League.

It's not coincidence that there have been English Teams in 3 of the last 4 CL finals.

 

Is it just about the domestic pay day?

Is it purely bad coaching?

Is it arrogance?

They shouldnt get paid to play for country - also they should pick players from the championship for a few games to give the overpaid a reality check......

As much as i dislike ballack (mostly for cheating/diving) i have to agree last night he was awesome as were Germany!

 

With regard to England i just think that there all too caught up in their pre madonna life styles to care about their passion and commitment to the national team, too much money not enough pride and desire to play for ENGLAND!!
