Treework in Japan

I was sent this video from our STEIN distributor in Japan. John is both a Trainer and major Arb Supplier in Japan and is working very hard to promote treework over there. Arborist are few and far between in Japan. There are many workers in the video, these are Johns Students. The main reason for the video is a Welsh TV company was filming Welsh made products being used in Japan.

Watch and enjoy, the film is in 2 parts

i would say there are so many people on site because working at a temple in japan would be like working at buckinham palace for us!! a real honour. Dr John is a great guy i was at a seminar of his in chicargo this year, there is a real cultural difference in japan. before the do any work to a tree they have to thank the tree by pouring an offering of rice wine to the gods. even down to the family head scarfs the workers wear. Dr John is doing a lot of work with disabled and under privilaged kids getting them up and climbing trees. he is always looking for help too out there!!
