Have you got any logs left ??

I've been trading for seven years and have only ever had four complaints - three of them from the same women - this year I've had enough when the complaint comes in about filling her house with smoke because of my wet firewood. Got in touch straight away saying I would uplift her entire delivery open up the bags split a random sample and test. Nothing tested more than 23%

most being around 20% so soon got bored and resold the lot that morning. Sent e-mail explaining I couldn't deliver firewood to her requirements and a cheques in the post to cover the sacks I took. This was just before the current cold snap and it warms me up thinking about her trying to source 'Nirvana' firewood from some of my slightly rougher colleagues - think she may be hearing the 'F' word a few times this week.

well I didnt want to be pedantic and draw your attention to said spelling error - for spotting this mistake award yourself a discount of say 15% for the price of your logs and treat yourself to a G & T with an added 10% on top as a sweetener for a slice of lemon

Thank yew very much. Has yew mey have guest last knight eye had a litle two much bear. :blushing:

It looks like the `Have you got any logs left?` question from my customer was not unwarranted .... I am now selling to one of my competitors who is right out of stock and with no sign of more coming in.

that is always a lovely position to be in

a mate of ours processes and sells logs - but he is a naughty boy and sells wet stuff to his clients - and as he doesn't have any dry stuff at all - for himself to burn - he comes to our wood with his tail between his legs - to buy seasoned cord for his burner at home
