Never thought organ donation to be a big deal but its not an opinion shared by my other half. If I don't need them and they are of any use to anyone/several people then I say help yourselves. But I do need to consider his feelings too as I imagine its tough to think of your partner being used it this way after they've gone.

If a member of my family needed a replacement part I'd be praying for one to arrive even though good news for us meant horrible news for another family somewhere.

Weirdly though perhaps, I don't feel comfortable in donating blood as my mum has CIDP which may have been caused by her donating blood many years ago.
