Mobile Welfare Unit

TRADITIONAL LOGGERS

Looking out the office window at the rain (Monday's office time) I wanted to know if anyone had used a mobile welfare unit and how it compared with a standard large cross frame tool box for secure storage/drying work clothes.

We are often miles away with little decent shelter at lunchtimes/mending tools and canvas tarps not always suitable even with a wood stove.

In the past we've used the back off one of those BT trucks, with basic facilities such as toilet, wash bowl, gas rings and a bench to sit on. It was ok til the vandals found it and smashed it up. It was a usefull shelter right out in the woods though. Doubt we'll bother with another, not worth the grief when its burnt out and smashed up.
