Quite inspirational actually.

At 2:26 the guy has some sort of quick release setup for his big shot. Anyone know what this is as it looks handy. Is it home made or purchasable?

Great video.

I made a quick release for the big shot mate, I'll have a look and see if I can find the details.:thumbup1:

Great video - watched it last night and really enjoyed it. Spending a little time on the North American Pacific coast is one of my life's ambitions.

Me too. I am really hoping to make it out to one of the American tree conferences some time and tag on a trip to see the Redwoods etc. Looks awesome.

If you make one, just make the legs of the Distel shorter and it won't sit back as much!!

Ahhhh .... nothing like watching a video of your own back yard - LOL

It's remarkable tree-wise out here. Its possible to stand beneath the Giant Sequoias, see some Coastal Redwoods, view some of Oregon's coastal forest, and step foot in the Olympic National Park, all within 2 to 3 days.

And about 4 to 7 days to really see a lot of each.

I liked that Bigleaf maple too, around the 3.00 mark in the video.
