I cannot understand comments about towing better than ifors? How do you know, and how is it possible....they are identical to each other:confused1:

 

i have towed both, Ifors bounce about empty.

atlas will tow well empty, full, half full, front heavy, back heavy, badly loaded. They are just better. I know nothing of how they are built and no nothing technical that on PAPER that could prove any of my above comments, i have just the practical side of the arguement covered.

I find the Ifor tows like a dog unless you load it level.

 

The Edwards towed well how ever you loaded it.

 

Sounds like the Atlas is a good trailer, then.

 

Whats the axle width on the Atlas, is it the same as an Ifor?

cant comment on the ifor, but the atlas tows a treat as has been said

not sure mate, it has a great little thing you push down for reversing to stop the breaks coming on, makes a huge diference on steeps drives.

Unloaded, Ifors are horrible! They need a nice amount of weight on before they are smooth too!

 

Approx 90% of trailers spend as much time empty being towed as fully loaded, therefore empty ride quality is important too. A trailer that bangs, yucks and rattles is not for me im afraid.

I actually dont want to sound anti Ifor. They are probably the best for carrying weight regularly and will hold value best of all. My dad has a flatbed for taking tractors to rallies so always carrying weight. Its spot on for that.

 

I just dont feel there are many situations generally such a heavyweight trailer is needed in arb.

I find that no matter how you load it, it tows fine behind the landy.....

REF IFOR tt105g to help ride quality i run my tyres at 80psi but it still bangs ratles:lol: and the build is better on the atlas and i can keep my SANDWICHES in the coolboxs:lol: just the job
