Just done a pop with Rich where it would have been a Godsend, instead of pulling my shoulders out of their sockets trying to pull limbs back up to the rigging anchor.

They come into there own on dismantles ive gotta say that just buy one it will soon pay for its self. Ive been fitting a big 8x8 7 1/2 ft post in for a 13ft gate so ive had a shoulder work out also digging through concrete.

Tonight

Monday's job. 250 year old Kowhai. Main stem is seperating from the root plate around three quarters of the tree. Removal via cherry picker as I can now slide my hand into the gap.

Is the hand rail through it or just up to it either side?

Just up to it either side. The tree has started to lean over the past week and is now starting to push the hand rail over at the bottom side. Probably would have looked much better if the tree had grown around it but that would mean a very old rail.
