as for the miniscule reductions, whould mr bolam have prefered these beeches had been alllowed to grow to a size where in order to get them under control they would have needed a minimum 30% reduction or does he recognise that by starting these off now, they will only ever require "miniscule works":sneaky2:

Some from last week, a row of 20something butchered sycs and a large "hedge" we did. I had 2.5 days on the sycs but it was more like 3 tbh, we had already taken a good 10' of the hedge by the time I took the pic.
