This is called pleaching if I,m wrong sure someone will correct me . Sorry I maye thinking of when they are joined together .

I think you are right, I think lower ones are espaliers or cordons.

yeah....in fact she wasnt overly happy with how much i had taken off(which was very little) as she's used to getting loads of fruit.

 

i love mulberrys, love getting jobs like that when they are fruiting...delicious

This Norway Spruce was used as a Christmas tree, then planted in the back of the garden 19 years ago. After growing gradually in its first 10 years it grew at a great rate and put on about 1 1/2″ in diameter every year for the last 9 years. It was time to take it down before it got unmanageable.

We did a large tree of heaven a few years back . It was filled with concrete way back in the 70s . This was to stabilise the hollow cavity at the bottom and the first fork at 15ft .

Its been a while, thought i'd post some pics of my recent work.

 

Some Scot pine fells, pretty big trees over 20m to the first branch all leaning slightly twisted which makes spiking errr fun, climbed some straight felled some others, the pictures do not do the trees justice or show how tight some of the fells were as no damage could be done other than a few divets in the ol turf.
