it was a pretty small garden and the euc had grown up through the middle of the cherry plums, it would have been easy without the prunus but they made it a little more awkward as it was harder to crane/swing the stuff over the next garden round

 

Its lucky it wasnt raining you would have needed "DAZ" to get the stains out of that white t-shirt!

 

Good job though mate :001_smile:

Why do they call it a field Maple.....because it's in a field ??

 

 

 

I'm not sure of the names origin.

 

I've heard it called ;

 

English Maple

Maplin tree

Dog oak

Cat oak

& Whistle-wood

 

Guess that as it's normally associated with Field hedges or Woodland edge, this may have given provinance to it's common name.

 

All the same......................it's reet neece like :001_tt1:

 

 

 

 

Here's a fine Beech flare I saw earlier today :001_smile:

 

And no Dean, it doesn't grow near Beaches :001_tongue:
