Whilst cutting and clearing the timber from a large ash fell within the grounds of a public garden on Saturday, half of this willow decided to have a lie down in front of us.

We were chatting towards the end of the day and suddenly a loud crack wa heard as the left hand side of the tree failed. It wasn't far from us so we legged it over to make sure no one was underneath. The gardens had just opened fully aswell after the storms.

Proceeded to put it on its arse with the help of a tractor whilst the ground staff close the gardens again. Finally I flopped the reminding part an made safe.

I was actually up the tree a couple of days before clearing hangers from the storm and no cracks were visible.
