Thanks for the explanation. Is this interpretation of a reduction normal?

All I can say is that if I had had a branch land on my house I would want a more significant reduction than that (in size)

Took down a big silver maple over 2 1/2 days this week, (no before pic, just during) got 2/3rds of the rigging done in one day before the rain... tricky stuff, wires on 3 sides of the tree, then another half day to get the last bit down (plus the wood) to the stump, those wires were close! Left that front limb in the 1st pic to rig the big wood over the wires. Worked out good.

 

Got in the toro dingo to help out, which is a real back/life saver!
