yeah i thought so. i was asked the other week if i fancied grinding the stumps with the little husqvarna grinder we have.:scared1: i wasnt keen lol

Here you go mark. We do get some nice work.

 

It was a daft place to build some houses. The tops are dead.

 

All the crown was lowered then the stems removed by Crane and loaded into Grain trailers on tractors.

 

Both crowns out in two days and the crane in for one day. I think we even had an early finish.

cool pics phenom thx, must have been the day u started i spoted u working from the cemetry. so as u do i went and had a nosey, looked like a smooth job well done.

What type of environment is it, Parkland, Private garden, Estate?

Monkeyd: Its a council owned Nature Reserve / Playing field. We were asked to fell it or make it safe. We did it because we thought it was appropriate. Don't know what the council thought of it. The vegetation underneath it dosnt get mowed so will keep people away from it.

Probably not enough,

I like the way they angled the cuts to help water run off the pruning wound there in stoping the rot.
