Interesting job matty!

I did a pine reduction of the lateral limbs last weekend. The lower crown had been severely thinned by someone a few years ago and had caused some of the lower limbs to fail due to the lever arm created from the lions tailing. It was either reduce it and deadwood or remove it. I prefer to keep it if i can.

 

No before because i wasn't sure how it was going to end up.

Crane job from today(i was just taking pics and on the radio to crane-op and climber.(the last lift was 9.3t) the rest ranging from 2-3t)

This was a leylandii we took down yesterday had two wires and road, the crack shows an 8 ft included union that was opening up under pressure of the wind because of removing a transit load of supporting lower growth, did not anticipate that in the quote!!! Got the top out in about 15 mins to stabilise the tree, I honestly thought it was going to split out and I was tied in to the weak side!
