Hey Ross.Job was at canterbury uni,Got about 1-2week job there doing removals all on day rate to :thumbup1:

This weeks job site was pretty perfect for the weather,Peter pollarded -felled this 190 year old ash with the only crane we could get in for job site, meant he had to snatch out some big chunks then once lowered to within crane boom we pulled them out, went pretty well remaining old stem was haloed of surounding sycamore.

Rest of the week was felling more sycamore so remaining ash can fill out, dead wooding over paths and benches and coppice work along the banks a fun job.

Removal of surrounding sycamores, you can see the decay wich ran to the base of this tree, it was once twinned stemmed, in2004 one side split out and we reduced it 40 % the council were concerned as the base decay was significantly more evident than

When the tree first failed.
