gotcha matty, i can just see the back cut now, easy done mate. did you almost pull the handles off the saw before giving up in a rage lol, or is that just me ha ha

 

Worse than that, I tried to roll it with the cant hook whilst furiously kicking the saw breaking off the stop switch!...well it worked:001_huh:

just off the broad way josh...I new it was you in the white lid! i just witnessed one of your stunt fells the first morning, i was gonna come and see you but was already late!

 

no worries mate. im guessing it was a thuja near the bowling green(maybe the one that clipped the hedge :blushing:)? or the sycamore leaning over the elecy sub station in the carpark down the other end?

we should be on that site for a few weeks on and off

It was the thuja! i felled an oak right next to that thuja about 8 years ago, spent about 2 weeks there and by the pool didnt mind that sort of work for NHDC.

Did you prune the howard oak??? Last time i climbed it it was ripped appart by storm damage! didnt look the greatest of specimens looks not to bad now though...

which ones the howard oak? i deadwooded and fettled the one in the car park near the toilets, and d/w a couple near by, with the 2 big oaks by toilets still to do.

 

the big oak in the carpark near the bowling green is comming down, got fungus, rigga something ulmus?

 

think the other climber reduced a few limbs on an oak behind the hall place of the above carpark

 

or the oak in the woodland area behind that row of thujas?

 

you best have done spot on target pruning cuts mat, i'll be checking now:lol:

you have done it !cant believe you didnt notice the bloody great big plaque under it! he was the guy who built or desighned letchworth and welyn garden citys! its near one of the big buildings in between the padling pool and bowling green road side.
