Were the laterals left on the Pine, to dampen the effect of the release?

they weren't left for that reason (they were left on as it could be felled with them left on) but that tech will be used more in the future. The stabilizing effect from leaving them on is quite astounding. no shake whatsoever. definelty one to remember. especially when training new staff.

As hinted at on an earlier thread, I was cunningly distracted :sneaky2:.

 

...so you failed to notice the large group of northerners standing round the bigshot and playing with teabags and bits of cremated burger and the peals of laughter.:001_smile:
