yes its the trouble when nature removes the main anchor out before you get there:001_smile: Harry did well, been climbing for 2 years in total, and we had some big mature trees to deal with on that job, with various hung-up torn off limbs.

I went for a day with an old boss. Felling selected trees in a huge garden by a country house. This was typical of the dozen Larch we felled. Its taken 2 men a month to fell, extract and burn up using forwarder, harvester and timberjack skidder. There is 2 weeks more yet. This is just a thinning.

 

Look careully for Brian at the bottom of the tree.
