Stein helmet Peltor ear muff problems ?

Thanks for replies I can see others have these problems too.

 

I have gone for the whole hog and fixed these muff for good .

I went for No More Nails and put a good does of it in before doing up the bolt then on the outside i have put gaffa tape so the bolt cannot unscrew and has no were to run if it were to com off .

 

I have now put extra padding in the front part of the cradle I used cut up carry matt and covered it with gaffa tape so the helmet does not slip anymore

for the gogles not sure what I am going to replace it with as the standard visors do let the bits in and I dont enjoy the grill across my face all the time .

 

I will let you know how it goes with my tender loving care and very strong cement.

Yes you can fit the Sordins to the Stein, you need this adaptor to clip them into.

That helmet looks good but you can't fit any ears to it as far as I know.

Didn't realise that mate. Guess its an alternative to the Altios isn't it? Have to use plugs.

We have 10 of these at work and all of them have fallen apart.. supplier has fixed them all free of charge but i'm sure it will happen again... peltor pain in the ass.......

Well spotted Bolt, I didn't see that might be to do with 6 empty beers next to me.
