Hi all,

I was wondering what different weed killers people use for:

1) actually killing off weeds (ie clearing existing leafy growth)

2) stopping weed growth (ie for monoblock & stone chippings etc)

Suggestion for over the counter & with spraying ticket varieties & an idea of what to expect to pay would be great.

Some of my guys flask coffee seems to work, you will need full biological charcoal lined suit, couple of drops on the centre of the stump works, no need to cut around the cambium!

same with the azural

Odd isn’t it, its almost as if the first 1L has a majority of any royalty on it, subsequent 1L within the same container have much less, or is it all down to the booklet type label (even though pre booklet type label pricing followed the same odd structure)

I use Clinic ACE (glyphosate like round up) it seams to work ok, the costing is a bit silly i.e. 1L is ~£22 but 5L is only ~£53 :001_rolleyes:

Blimey - Clinic Ace 360g/l in my local agri supply is £33 for 5l - must stock up before the price goes up!

Clinic ace too even cheaper still if you buy 40 ltr at a time.

Chikara is a good one for stoppping all weeds regrowing up to 5 months on some think it is meant to be used on hard surfaces like railways gravel ect

I use Roundup Pro Biactive 360 for the initial knocking off. As a barrier/suppression weedkiller on gravel I use Pistol. Both very effective, but not cheap and tickets required.

My local agricultural suppliers let me have roundup 360 for about £53. How much do you lot have to pay for the real deal then?:confused1: I now use Roundup 450 as a systemic and Pistol as a residual.
