I'm not anti the petitioning, but to be honest what difference will it make? So they may hold the prices back for a little while, let the unrest calm down, then hike the prices anyway. We all complain about the prices, but we still take our kids to school by car, we still want to run 4x4's. So long as we remain so dependant on the motor vehicle, they will have us over the barrel. So is there really an answer to this problem long term, or do we just fill out a petition every now and then, then go on grumbling as the fuel prices climb ever higher?

S'funny, I thought thats how things got discussed Lee, raising an issue, discussing it, coming up with a variety of opinions, discussing those, slagging them off, side-tracking, end up totally disagreeing with each other, go off on one, sit in corner sulking.

Can you show me that the fuel price issue wont follow the same pattern as it did following the blockades? If it doesnt I'l be very surprised.
