Listen to us - what a bunch of softies. Sorry to hear you lost your pal - dreading the day I'm in the same boat. You did the kindest thing. Chin up mate. You have the memories and you know you gave a dog a very good home.

HI ALL AND littetre thats true mate we have :thumbup: one border terrier its going nuts now:confused1: im looking in to get BT pup in 8 weeks time mate i we pop around to priddy pub at the green thanks for all your support jon somerset

Gutted for you mate.

 

I can't imagine life without my lab now. I even got tearful reading Marley and Me.

 

As others have said, you can love a new dog (and I would), but never truly replace a lost friend.

Sorry to hear your sad news John. I don't have a dog of my own but got really attched to a friends collie that had to be put down earlier this year.

 

It sounds like your obviously a dog person so do get another,not to replace Sky but to be a new friend who will repay the time and effort you put in when it is a pup by being at your side to make you smile and feed good about life when it is older (if that makes sense!?)
