Here here, im a Husky man through and through and only use a 200 in a tree at the mo, but i would be interested in this saw if it werent for the brake. It would get caught up on branches and is only fixed on one side so i could see it getting broken and being a pain.....its about time that Husky brought out a decent top handle though:thumbup1:

It has two fixing for the chain brake.

The one at the show is a pro type (version 5 i think they said)and they are still working on it to fix a few niggles.

They are apparently going to increase the engine to around 40cc.

Oh and it has 3 different sizes of the top handle that they supply with the saw.

i was impressed by the torque demo. it means nothing till the saw is being put out to test properly in the working enviroment though

the guy at the husqvarna standsaid they had been testing i for 6 months. the saw looked like it had been worked for 6 months too and he said he hadnt had any issues. but then he was on the husky stand.

AHA! Huskvarna has finally found out why Stihl is a better saw... I do hope the new saw has a se through fueltank too...

Looking forward to that as Im not too impressed with the new MS200. My old MS020T needs replacing, wonder if I can get hold on a 540t xp from my Huskyrep for evaluation...:sneaky2:

That should say prototype.:001_rolleyes:

I think the guys trying them out are lantra trainers.

Tbh (and no disrespect to the lantra, if im right guys)I don't know why they don't do some R&D with tree firms who will use and abuse the saws to death.

thats my point..i seemed to recall hearing they were being tested by trainers. thats not proper hard testing IMO. those saws need to be cutting hard all day...and yes, basically abused
