Anyone see the new husky top handle at the APF?

was not totally sold on the chainbrake

easy to apply but really had to lift my hand to release it

but looked like a major improvement on the old one

whether it,s enough to claw back sales not sure

The thing I didnt like was the arse end.

 

I preferred the older husky tear drop shape.

 

Well actually I never liked the husky top handle but the arse was the best bit:blushing:

the new one comared to the 338 is a massive imrovement though... i will deffinatly be getting one when they come out.

The chap was fine using it on the floor, he had his harness on!!!!

Its louder, less power/weight ratio and has higher vibrations....

Could still be a better saw compared to the previous ones...

Prefere Stihl MS200, especially the chainbrake thats sturdier and doesent get caught on branches.

Here here, im a Husky man through and through and only use a 200 in a tree at the mo, but i would be interested in this saw if it werent for the brake. It would get caught up on branches and is only fixed on one side so i could see it getting broken and being a pain.....its about time that Husky brought out a decent top handle though:thumbup1:

Its about time ANYONE brought out a contender to the rapidly-diminishing-in-qua;ity 200t. I am looking to get a new top handled very soon- I may try to wait for this husky and see what its like, as i am getting pretty hacked off with the stihl stable at the mo...esp when I hear that they were boasitng that 'if it has our name on it they will buy it whatever' at a dealer's recently...

I think the husky saw is basically a japanese top handle as they bought the company out . Maybe Komatsu ? Is good tho .

Are u saing they are bringing out another (a fourth?) tophandeled saw? Youre not talking about the T435?
