To add evenmore to the confusion....!

I just got off the phone from talking to customers relations at the headoffice in Sweden. First she asked me to get in contact with the retailers, whom I already had spoken to three different ones, after telling her that and asking her when, how and if the saw (T540 XP) is beeing relesed in Sweden or UK soon....

She denied that such a saw was in line of production!?!?:confused1:

I told her a saw had been on display in the UK during the weekend, to this information she replyed "As far as Im aware there is no such saw and I cant give you any kind of information", My reply "So its a secret?"

"If thats what you want to call it...."

What? This is really intricate...:001_rolleyes:

like i said at the show, that was extremely impressive...in fact the first thing i plan to do when i get back to work is try that with my stihl....im reasonably sure it wont do it though...

having said that, what wood were they cutting and how much difference might that have made for the demo? sorry for being sceptical....but it was just that impressive that it raises some doubts :001_smile:

What was the torque demo?

AN did you try it with the 020?

Other than the chain brake handles snapping, what quality issues have you had Tom??

There were problems with the carbs a fews years ago, but my last two have been fine.

Sorry dave- not been on this thread for a day or two.

The carb on my saw and the awful filler caps- I have replaced the oil twice, and now the petrol cap has gone, and it has always been really gutless compared to the older ones. I sold an 020 years ago, and I had a chance to use it a couple of weeks back, working for the guy i sold it to, and it had more guts than my 200!!

I understand from speaking to a dealer today that there are more potentail carb issues on the horizon- but never got to the end of the call as i lost signal.

Either way, I will be interested to see what this husqvarna turns out like.:001_smile:

Anyone notice the exposed primer bulb on it, a good colleague of mine noticed it looks likely to be perforated while dangling off a tool strop, The Husky blokie reckoned its fine but I'd be wary of it.

Why do they have primer bulbs? I usually associate them with non pro saws or hedge trimmers!

No idea what wood they were cutting, it was provided by the APF lot. I'm paid to sell saws etc not identify trees! Thats down to your expertise.....!

I can assure you mr bullman has no expertise in tree i.d
