Am enjoying watching this competition hugely and wanted to join in. I'm definitely no expert but here goes.....

1 - Phallus impudicus

2 - Lycerpodon Perlatum

3 - Ganoderma resinaceum (???) Although I took this in late August so doesn't count but I would like to know what it is.

* awaits immediate correcton*

Sal, Im loving this shot of Ganoderma resinaceum, Ive only seen it in a cluster like this twice so really cool to see it once agin like this:001_cool:

from yesterday,

Macrolepiota procera

(or possibly Macrolepiota rhacodes)

:001_cool:

your second ident is correct, the two are often in rather different woodland zones, with prcera prefering the edges even into the grassy fringes of the woodland habitat, hence the name the field parasol.

Wheras rhacodes is a lover of the deep dark woodland, and often found under dense holly and sycamores.

the two are quiet different once you get you eye in, Procera a fine edible, rhacodes not so much.:thumbup:
