cos its a alot quicker to work and less flaffing around with ropes going all over the show , to be honest if your that saftey concious its probably not the job for you ! i dont mean that aimed at you personally but its health and saftey gone crazy ! but whatever your comfatble with i spose i use a strop where needed rather than the other end :001_smile:

hi yes to website so why do most people use only one rope I almost see this on every occasion that I've encountered tree surgeons doing work. The only time I see anything different is usually when the council are doing tree work

No offence mate, but I really dont understand your website??? Have you cut and pasted definitions of tree surgeons and then put a daft video up???

 

Im honestly not trying to be nasty. What are other peoples thoughts???

I thought the link was broken its a bit wierd the way its set aout and with the google ad at the top taking up half the page.

Ive been told before 3 points of contact when cutting and 2 for climbing H&S Reg's. It gets alittle messy to be honest so that was binned. Your own style suits you. it took me a while before i picked up my own way to do things that worked best for me. you will discover your own way to in time.

ive only just noticed that ? i think youve pretty much summed it up ! :confused1: how weird ?? i dont get it either
