Got twelve month to get this into a working yard

approx:

240m of fencing to erect

100m of hawthorn hedge to lay

3/4 of an acre of yard area to level with a big machine

60m of yew hedging to plant

barn to dismantle and re-erect

2 containers to shift after putting in footings for them

a chip bay to build and a 40m retaining wall to build

oh! And tons and tons of firewood to shift

all to do myself in my spare time,:001_rolleyes:

site is about 1.65acres

Started with knocking in countless fence posts, putting in a stone gatepost, installing hinges into the gatepost and hanging a 10ft and 16ft gates

Are they with your clippings in one of your previous threads? how are they doing?

It is them Bobby, they were doing brilliant, showing loads of vigerous growth, I decided to take them out of the growbag and pot them individually in big pots but none had any roots showing yet after such a long time :confused1:

I'm just hoping they are all still ok, will leave them alone now till middle of next year and hopefully they'll be ok

Is this what you swapped your woodland for? I've just been offered a good deal on 3 acres of hard standing but it's renting not buying so would be afraid of any spending to much money there.

R

It is mate, much more usable area on this plot, it's about a 1/3 yard a 1/3 woodland and a 1/3 grassed lawn

Thats the only problem with renting is anything you spend is money for nothing. It might be worth asking if you can rent for a while with a veiw to buying some after so long ??
