im also in the market for some, but the price makes my eyes water.

have used them several times and they are alot more stable than any other straight ladder.

so yeah they get my vote.

I have one too but they're no good on concrete (if it's the same type I have) and they can still be unstable if you lean too much at the top. Still good for fine pruning on the ends of branches on smaller trees though.

I bought a set seventeen years ago when I first started out on my own. I finally scrapped em last week but I'll be buying a new set soon as they're invaluable imo.

what height were they mick? were they tripod ones as i though they were kinda new to the market.

Will you have some at the apf justin?.

Will take a look at them Justin as im in the maket for some too.

Got a set of Youngmans industrial step ladder combi at the moment, served me well but now a bit rickety.

I've got two, a 10' and a 16'. Excellent for pruning and shaping ornamentals. It's awesome to stick them inside the tree. They do feel a bit scary at times, especially at the top of the 16', at that point your head's at about 20'.

Great tool.

5 metres which is as high as I'd want to go on any tripod ladder tbh, 3 metres without the extension and they are stable enough to straddle at that height and 6.9 metres used as a standard ladder. They've been around for ages, I bought mine from Stanton Hope and they're made by Zarges.
