Ford Ranger King Cab

Im new to this so be gentle

 

I am currently driving a VW Caddy, Its served me well as self employed climber doing small jobs, but I have a new chipper arriving in a fortnight and chipping into a van is not an option. I am looking at a 57 plate Ford ranger King cab,

 

Its not a tipper but I figure if it all goes well I will get a tipper fitted to it next year.

 

Whats the general thoughts on Ford ranger?

I have a 2003 ranger, ideal for tool storage as it has suicide doors but could be a bit better of road.

I quite like the Ranger i know some real die hard fans of the japanese pickups have gone over to them.

 

I still think i'd have another navara though.

Mines a Mk2. Had new hilux for a bit but was a pain to get to rear, sold and got truck, quad & chipper instead. I played with idesa of 130 but it is so reliable so why would i want to change it.
