Camping at the APF... any takers?

last apf we stopped over in back of a van in a nice quiet carpark, it got busier and busier the later it got.. lots of men parking next to each other then getting into each others cars etc.. still a bit disturbed by it now..

I have spoken to the owners of springslade lodge and got some fairly good prices from them for arbtalk members, however I have also spoken to my friend and he is ok about people camping in his woods however it is overgrown so you would need to flatten the weeds down but it is free and you can have a camp fire.

 

Also excessive drinking is allowed if he is invited!!!!

 

He`s doing it as a favour to me, so he only stipulates that it is left tidy and all rubbish cleared away.

I like the sound of a camp fire, but I might have to find somewhere with a shower if I plan on doing 2 days of APF and interacting with people. Waking up in a ditch not remembering how I got there seems to be where this is heading...

if they will let me. ill be sleeping onthe front seat of the truck, with a pillow and a sleeping bag ill be reet for the neet! Will be locking the doors so no hairy rum drinkers 'sneak' in!
