2nd mill arrived yesterday. Job is only a couple of weeks off 13 mature trees to fell. I will post pics of the job as the milling goes along.

Away at moment but I saw the sale go through on the website.

I'm doing the bracing kit as a standard thing now to go with the Alaskan 48" and 56". It helps make sure everything stays square.

Good luck with the job Ian - maybe book a physio session for just after :001_tongue::biggrin:

The plan is staged milling periods between two mills so we don't have tonnes of stuff to do all at once.

  • 2 weeks later...

OK,

Sites been felled and we started milling. Part of the new mill broke i assume from vibration? But were nw milling more posts for the house extension/ easier to sell on. Still doing some as planks but milling posts of 6X6 should half the milling time. There are so many photos of the job heres a link Target Trees's Photos - Mature tree felling & Milling | Facebook
