`wasteland` is a bit of a missnomer.All land belongs to someone. It might look unused or abandoned, but there arent huge tracts of wilderness like in some countries like Australia or Canada where you can do as you please.

You can bet that however neglected an area appears,as soon as you take up some kind of activity on it someone will appear out of the woodwork to charge/sue/call the police/etc.

I know the feeling you can't wait to get out there and climb! because lets be honest we all love it, but the best thing to do is ask any of the boys on here who are local to you if they can spare an hour or two to take you climbing somewhere where so if you get in the s#@t the can help/direct you.

 

Mabey you could swap a days labour for it? someone here will have a stump you can fell or a few small trees you can practice on:thumbup1:

 

can't falt your enthusiam but try reign in in a little ;)

is it ok tooo ask a farmer if he has some trees he wants down and explain that im trying too get in too tree work ans i need pratice at the back of a fild out the way climbing and cutting ect

 

if you do do that make sure someone else is there incase something happens
