the 090 still being made is a bit of a chinese whisper, stihl may make a few per year (possibly) but getting one or tracking one down is unlikely as i posted before you can still get the 070 in central and south america but you would need to find someone to ship you one back as i cant see stihl uk getting one in for you

as we both posted at the same time, a new MS076 would be a thing of beauty, it will certainly build your muscles up lifting them about, better for setting a mill on than the 090/070 style as the filler caps are both on the same side of the saw

I shouldn't think the 076 much heavier than the 880.

 

I'm coming to the conclusion that the 880 and 3120 are good saws up to 36" for milling but after this they haven't the torque to pull the chain through thicker wood unless the chain is absolutely spot on.

 

I'm going to see about getting a new MS 076 over here to try out.

I really doubt this is a Stihl product.

 

If you wish to make sure, ask for serial number and see if you can get any part number from the saw...

 

No Stihl chain is made in Sweden that I am aware of.

Some bars at some point, but no chain.
