Could anyone help me ID this tree?

I'm trying to ID this tree, closest I can find is a Grey or maybe Goat Willow, or I might be way off, can anyone help?

Looks like a sallow...aka Goat Willow, or to give it the latin name...Salix caprea.

I'm guessing the owners are saying 'too big'. A delicate pollard and you'll be back in two years for 'aftercare' (when it'll be about the same size as now).

Its a goat willow (Salix caprea) with what looks like some sort of bud proliferation or catkin gall.

I took down a couple of trees yesterday, one of which I haven’t been able to fully ID. 
I priced it in Winter, reckoned on a Tilia and Acer from the bud formation. Arrived yesterday, Tilia correct but Acer looks a little like Negundo but isn’t, hard/white/heavy timber, no discernible smell, Cherry Laurel like bark, not Tree of Heaven, around 40’ tall, spreading habit rather than lapsed pollard.

No buds resembling any Ash that I have come across and the bark is all wrong.
