I was getting my kit together today as Its getting checked tomorrow and was wondering if my tool strop needs to be checked? Am pretty sure it doesn't but I thought I would just check.

It does indeed, including any karibiners used between the harness and the saw.

Another question, there are a couple of shards of wire starting to poke through on my flip line, they are not big shards. I have a feeling it will fail what do you think?

Thanks for the info guys. I drop my gear off tomorrow and pick it up on Sunday so will let you all know how it gets on.

Not your spikes they are a climbing aid. Tool strops yes as they carry a load.

I think you will find that spikes are now included in the inspection. There faliure could be critical, therefore there inclusion
