Who's got it, what have you got, how do you rate it, what features do you find useful or unnecessary, and what would you recommend for a basic simple system that covers the uk and eire, and does fixed speed camera locations?

Thanks

I've just got the navman S30. had bad experience of the old navmans and good experience of the newer tomtoms but the new navman unit is brilliant quality and even better value!

100 quid in the shops, 85 from staples online

fast satellite lock, every feature you need. able to update it with easy to use software and an sd card slot. fixed cameras of all different kinds. warns at 500yds audibly

VERY clear voice nav. reads out the junction number you need, the number of the road to turn into on roundabouts etc. cant recommend it enough.

comes with car charger, cradle, home charger, usb cable and leather case. very stylish compact unit.

and yes i just wrote that not copied it from the net haha.

problem i found when looking at the new tomtoms was you have to spend a bit more for the tomtom one, and it has slightly less features than the navman, and no SD card slot for adding maps/updates etc, only its onboard memory. good unit though. I really dont think theres anything in it but price
