Looking at getting into the kindling game out here in Northern Ireland. Doesn't seem to be anyone using the Kindlet out here, only seen them for sale brand new and obviously paying out full price throws me in at the deep end. Seen the odd mains powered one down in the Republic that have already sold. Anyone know of anyone hiring out here or any second hand ones? Also any advice from the experienced kindlers out there.

I manged to put my silky into my left wrist after trying to cut and pull a branch off a powerline. Luckly it was a vein I hit, as the amount of blood worried me slightly! I've never got out of an ivy covered ash tree as fast as I did that day!

Anyone Know where I can get an engine for a MS200t?

I haven't taken it apart yet but the engine doesn't turn over, the pull cord doesn't "pull". Me thinks something has seized, i'll see if i have time over the weekend to pull it apart. Whats the worst case, new piston and "engine like" bits? Not to clued up on the inners of a saw! -
Hi everyone, I've killed my 200t on a job the other weekend. I stupidly placed it on a stump while it was running and it vibrated off and into a stream. Being submerged didn't agree with it and it seized Looking for a cheap engine, as my local chainsaw place was trying to charge me £250 for a new engine. Only paid £200 for the saw in the first place. Any ideas or advice feel free to post away!

photoshop, then you can cut around your tree, paste it onto your photo of a garden. Then using the history brush you can rub round the edges which blends the pasted image into the background perfectly. A silly example

We got issued the big green husky kit bags through arb ireland. They do the job nicely, pretty tough too!

Yeah Ian i'll get it out this weekend and see how it compares in the trees. Just looking at both the sal and gecko and I can't see any major differences in feel etc.

Most of us at work climb on gecko as that's what the company supplies. I get on with it fine so no negative points on it from me.

Remember if it's not raining it's not training! Well that's what we were told in the forces. Oh and "pain is temporary, pride is forever" "Better to sweat in training than bleed in battle" I could go on........but i won't. I don't need to train being a machine, just changed the oil and check the fuses once in a while. lol

Really? Do customs stop stuff then make you pay tax on them. I just presumed it was all included.

Thats without a spliced eye and the english price i quoted was without one too. No extra taxes etc to pay on it, rope was $98.20 and priority postage $49.50. So total $147.60. Wesspur had a customs form attached to it and it got here fine.

Just to let you all know if it's time to replace your rope and your after Blaze then try Wesspur.com I've just recieved 45m (150') for £77.36 delivered! Took about 10 days to arrive from america, but well worth it considering it's about £122 (with vat and delivery) over here. Thought i'd let you blaze lovers know! Blaze on!

Good point well presented! I'll have to double check how it was setup but I think the way it loads goes onto the double pulley, it's not really pulling on the friction hitch.

Na it's a piece of rope etc hung over the branch with a double pulley on a bina. A piece of friction cord is on the rope on the otherside of the branch and then connects into the bina. A dog clip or similar is above the friction hitch. So once you finish you can pull the friction hitch off the rope with the throw line and it slides down your climbing line on the pulley.

Just on my dismantling course this week and got shown a self retrieving redirect. Thought it was pretty good so I get a photo of it and upload it. Anyone else got any good redirects? This one uses a friction hitch and a throwline to retrieve it from the ground.

I've a clio turbo diesel. 60 miles per gallon and £35 a year for tax. Does the job!
